The project was announced by Prime Minister Sherif Ismail on Sunday at the opening of an international conference on sustainable development in Sharm El-Sheikh. The plan includes building 10 new cities, each with a population of 500,000 people, as well as 20 new tourist resorts on the Red Sea coast.
