The journey begins in Luxor, the city of ancient monuments and imposing temples. After boarding our elegant vessel, travelers will be welcomed with a cocktail and have the opportunity to settle in before a delightful dinner.
Day 2: Karnak Temple and Luxor Temple
The day kicks off with a visit to the majestic Karnak Temple, a complex of grand temples celebrating the Egyptian gods. In the afternoon, we'll explore Luxor Temple, an impressive structure dating back over 3,000 years. The evening is free to enjoy the sunset over the Nile.
Day 3: Valley of the Kings and Hatshepsut Temple
The third day takes us to the Valley of the Kings, where ancient pharaohs were laid to rest with their treasures. Exploring the rock-cut tombs provides a unique opportunity to delve into the history of ancient Egypt. Day 5: Aswan and Philae Temple
Arriving in Aswan, a picturesque city, we'll visit the Philae Temple, situated on an island in Lake Nasser. This gem of Egyptian architecture was relocated to the island of Agilkia to preserve it from floods.
Day 6: Aswan Dam and Nubian Village
Today, we'll explore the Aswan Dam, an imposing structure that created Lake Nasser. In the afternoon, we'll embark on a traditional felucca to reach an authentic Nubian village, discovering the local culture and savoring authentic Nubian cuisine.
Day 7: Abu Simbel Temple
The seventh day is dedicated to one of the wonders of ancient Egypt: the Abu Simbel Temple. These monuments, built to honor Pharaoh Ramses II and Queen Nefertari, were relocated to protect them from the waters of Lake Nasser.
Day 8: Return to Luxor and End of the Journey
