LOCATION
Queen Sharm Resort is located at 20 km roughly from the airport and 5 km from Naama Bay, opposite to an area of spectacular seabeds and blue sea.
THE VILLAGE
This holiday village, with an international clientele, is located directly seafront and develops itself around a large swimming pool. The available services for the guests are: 2 restaurants, a beach grill restaurant, bars, shops, conference rooms (with a capacity of 300 seats) and a Diving Center (payable services). Just a few meters away from the beach, you can find the SPA of the resort with payable beauty services. The center extends on a 400 sqm place, featuring a welcoming reception, massage and beauty treatment rooms, Turkish and Moroccan bath, sauna, gym (free access) and Jacuzzi. THE BEACH
The beach of this village spreads along 200 meters and it is full of coves. The access to the sea is via two jetties reaching the coral reef. The beach is equipped with umbrellas, beach beds and free beach towels.
THE ROOMS
All the 221 hotel rooms have a/c units, TV, telephone, mini-fridge, hairdryer, safety box and balcony (exception made for 18 rooms). The hotel room electricity is 220v and can take any Italian type of plug.
FOOD & BEVERAGE
The ALL INCLUSIVE Formula at Queen Sharm, checked with care by one of our chefs, includes breakfast, lunch and a buffet dinner at the main restaurant. Lunch can be also spent at the grill area on the beach. Soft drinks (in the dispenser) are included, as well as all the local drinks and coffee (espresso) for the whole day, always at the various bars around. At daytime you can enjoy delightful snacks by the beach bar, bearing in mind that drinks in a bottle or can are not included.
SPORTS
The ALL INCLUSIVE mentioned formula is also counting the following sport activities: synthetic grass soccer with lighting, beach tennis, beach volley, tennis and paddle tennis, archery, water aerobics, fitness, water polo, bowls, ping-pong and gym. Payable services: billiard, snorkeling activities, diving and dive courses.
ANIMATION
The animation team will entertain everyone with games, tournaments, dance lessons, evening shows (musical, cabaret, games, comedies, folklore) as well as disco nights, always with the due respect for privacy.
CHILDRENS
The resort features a huge Superminiclub with a beautiful wooden-built little house surrounded by a wide green area and a grass soccer field.The swimming pool has a reserved area for kids. The restaurant features a small buffet for children in an area totally reserved and dedicated to the little guests. There is a dedicated staff team taking care of children starting from 3 to 11 years old and this goes from 9.30am till 6pm and then from 7.30pm until 9.30pm.
Sports: starting from the age of 6 years there are sport activities available such as archery, beach volley, bowls, darts, ping-pong, grass soccer and tennis.
SUPER JUNIOR CLUB
This club is reserved to the teenagers from 12 to 16 years old and it is open on a daily basis starting from 9.30am until 6pm and from 7.30pm until 10pm. Sports: beach volley, beach tennis, paddle tennis, beach soccer, synthetic grass soccer, archery, water polo, tennis, ping-pong, bowls.
EXCURSIONS
Queen Sharm offers a large variety of optional excursions to choose from, such as: Glass Boat, Sunset in the Desert, Dolphin Show, Quad Runners in the Desert, Ras Mohammed National Marine Park, Submarine, Tiran Island, Blue Hole, Dahab by night, Jeep Safari. The booked excursions can be paid either cash (Euro or dollars) or by credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express). Electronic credit cards are not accepted.
BEFORE YOUR DEPARTURE
Documents: Travelling to Egypt requires a passport with a 6 months’ validity from the arrival date or a valid Identity Card for travelling abroad for all Italian citizens (remaining validity 6 months at least). In this last case you will jave to bring 2 passport pictures (remember that you will not find any machine for instant photos inside the airports in Egypt).
Visa and Tax: If you wish to move outside of the Sinai Peninsula, you will need to get a Visa at the airport that will cost you 25 $.
Health warnings: Covid19 vaccine certification or PCR Negative test taken within 72 hours prior to your departure.
Time difference: one hour ahead in comparison to Italy. Egypt daylight saving time works with different dates from Italy, therefore there will be periods without any time difference whatsoever.
Currency: Egyptian Pound
Language: Arabic is the national local language but our staff at Queen Sharm speaks also English and Italian.
