Sharm el Sheikh is one of the most popular destinations on the Red Sea. The city has a population of approximately 200,000 and serves as the provincial capital of the South Sinai Governorate.
Tourism is one of the main industries in Sharm el Sheikh. It is a popular destination sought after by travellers from all over the world for its beautiful beaches and coral reefs, making it an ideal place for snorkeling, diving, surfing, and kitesurfing. The weather is fantastic as it is always beautiful all year round with a maximum of 2 days of rainfall, the worldly life is the master and makes this place truly magical for many people, some of whom remain so enchanted that they decide to move there after coming on holiday.
Usually, however, the holiday lasts only about a week, and for this reason, we see below some tips on what to see in Sharm el-Sheikh in 7 days!

Ras Um Sid
Located at the tip of a small peninsula a few kilometres south of Naama Bay, Ras Um Sid is a much quieter area near the old Suq (Old Market) of Sharm El Sheikh called Hadaba, where tourists are enchanted by stunning coral formations , especially fan-shaped corals, and an incredible abundance of underwater life, including rare fish species. Being a beach, it is the ideal place for those who want to spend a truly relaxing holiday in Sharm El Sheikh, away from the crowds. The Hadaba area caters to families, honeymooners, and groups through a wide range of accommodation, ranging from luxury hotels and resorts to individual villas, beach houses, and budget apartments. The area is located 5 km from the centre of Naama Bay, which offers excellent entertainment opportunities, especially in the evening, after a full day of beach fun and snorkeling.

Naama Bay
Naama Bay is the main area of Sharm El Sheik, with a beautiful pedestrian area full of shops and clubs. The area overlooks the sea, so you can find numerous beaches with all related services. In this area there are many diving spots both north and south. There are eight dive spots in Nod Naama Bay, Ras Ghamila, Ras Nasrani, Ras Bob, White Knight, Shark Bay, Far Garden, Middle Garden and Near Garden, and nine dive spots south of Naama Bay. immersion; Sodfa, Tower, Pinky Wall, Amphorae, Turtle Bay, Paradise, Ras Umm Sid, Temple and Ras Kady. Most of the diving spots we have mentioned have similar locations and environments, sheltered from waves and strong currents. Diving in these places is easy and pleasant.
Old Market
The Old Market is one of the most culturally rich, interesting, and popular attractions in Sharm El Sheikh and is definitely worth a visit. The market is a huge contrast to the resort's lifestyle with its array of shops, stalls, and venues. Although the market leans somewhat towards international tourism, traces of authentic everyday life can still be seen in the area. The passage inside the Old Market helps a lot in better understand Egyptian culture, which is why it attracts so many visitors. You can stop and buy a souvenir, choosing from the wide range of trinkets, traditional fabrics and ornaments, or taste the authentic local cuisine at the famous Egyptian barbecues which serve kofta and kebabs. In short, it is a very characteristic and pleasant place to visit.

Ras Mohamed National Park
Ras Mohammed National Park is a national park located at the southern tip of the Sinai Peninsula in Egypt. It is one of the most famous tourist attractions in Egypt and has been declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.
The park's name derives from Ras Mohammed, a headland at the northern end. The name of the promontory in turn derives from the Arabic word محمد which means "Mohammed". This stems from the belief that the Prophet Muhammad passed at this point during his overnight journey to Jerusalem.
The national park is home to many endangered species such as: Grevy's zebra, African wild dog, cheetah and leopard.

Nabq Natural Park
The protected area of Nabq includes the coast of the Gulf of Aqaba and its hinterland, extending between Sharm El Sheikh and Dahab. This region has an area of about 600 sq km, and is characterised by sand dunes, floodplains and salt water marshes, It also has relatively diverse flora and fauna.
The territory is home to hyraxes, gazelles, Nubian ibex and foxes, as well as a variety of reptile, invertebrate and bird species such as herons, platalee, osprey, gulls, terns and storks. Of the 135 plant species present in the protected area, only 6 are considered endemic. The typical plant of the area and present throughout the territory (as well as the most famous) is the mangrove, an evergreen tree, capable of filtering salt water. It can be seen from the leaves that transpire salt.
Only local Bedouins live in the park, mainly concentrated in the villages of El Gharqana and Khereiza which provide all the services for tourism, such as camels, guides and camping. Nabq National Park, declared a protected area in 1992, is little frequented by tourists even if it is worth a visit for the beauty of the places. The tracks inside the park are all unpaved, but easily passable.

Dahab Village
Dahab is a small Egyptian town of about 1300 inhabitants, located on the southeastern coast of the Sinai Peninsula, in the South Sinai Governorate. Born as a small fishing village, it is now a renowned tourist and seaside resort overlooking the Red Sea. 100 kilometers from Sharm el-Sheikh.

Pharaoh's Island
Pharaoh's Island, also called “coral island” is located in the Gulf of Aqaba and hosts huge fortresses not dating back to the Ancient Egyptian era as the name might seem, but originating from the Late Middle Ages. In 2003 the island of Pharaoh was reported to UNESCO for adding it to the list of world heritage sites. It is currently a popular tourist site famous for its history but also for its spectacular coral reef. Furthermore, the structure was recently completely restored maintaining, of course, its mediaeval character.
Of the original fortress the towers, the rooms with arched passages, the bathrooms, the kitchens with huge ovens, the rooms where the troops slept and the footsteps of the legendary Lawrence of Arabia are still visible.

Soho Square
Soho Square is a district of Sharm El Sheikh famous for its beauty and for a series of characteristic shops and clubs. It is no coincidence that inside it we find fountains, typical restaurants, live shows, shops of all kinds. A place to recommend in Sharm for a unique and fun evening. Soho Square is a few kilometres from Naama Bay and very few from NABQ and is certainly more elegant, as well as spectacular and characteristic thanks to what it offers inside. Dolce Vita Desert party
