Egypt allows Ukrainian tourists affected by the Russian invasion to stay in Egyptian hotels
Egypt supports Ukrainian tourists stranded in Egypt
CAIRO - 25 February 2022: Egypt's Tourism Ministry announced that Ukrainian tourists and other nationals affected by the Russian invasion of Ukraine are allowed to extend their stay at Egyptian hotels and resorts until they situation not return safely to their countries.
Egypt’s Hotel Association declared this decision and asked to all Egyptian hotels to provide the tourists with all the needed facilities till they return back to their countries.
The Ukrainian embassy has asked Ukrainian tourists to use these facilities that the government has made available to extend their stay in Egyptian hotels.
Egypt is one of the top touristic destinations for Ukrainians with about 1.5 million for year visiting Egypt.
