The AlQahera News channel reported on Tuesday that Egyptian authorities have succeeded in bringing Palestinian journalist Wael al-Dahdouh, a correspondent for the Al-Jazeera channel, into Egypt from the Gaza Strip.

Dahdouh previously said in television statements several days ago that if he left Gaza, it would be justified and no one could criticize it.

“Many people advised me to leave Gaza because I need treatment to save my hand, and the treatment is not available in the Gaza Strip,” he explained.

Dahdouh lost his wife, son, daughter, and granddaughter in an Israeli raid that targeted a house they were displaced to in the middle of Gaza Strip in October, and he was injured several weeks later.

His colleague, photographer Samer Abu-Daqqa, was killed during an Israeli raid while covering the war in the city of Khan Yunis.

His eldest son, Hamza, was killed after Israeli forces bombed the car he was traveling in with fellow journalist Mustafa Thuraya, in Khan Yunis, south of Gaza Strip.
